The Feast of the Immaculate Conception: THE WOMAN Will Come into the World and Oppose the Enemy of the World and Oppose the Enemy of Goodness

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception: THE WOMAN Will Come into the World and Oppose the Enemy of the World and Oppose the Enemy of Goodness

The  human heart has a tendency to hide when the person has done something wrong.

It is that way when we sin. It produces a certain desire to hide. In the first reading (not included within this audio) we hear about Adam and Eve hiding from the Lord after they have eaten to fruit of the tree. They hide from God. Hear more in the Homily.

Everything we hear in the readings and the Gospel today deals with man’s hiddenness. God speaks of the consequences of hiding and refusing to step out of the darkness into the light. On the Day the Church celebrates the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, the Readings and Gospel speaks of hiddenness. God tells the snake, and Adam and Eve how it will go, and what will happen.

God will raise up one who will be an enemy of the snake. The snake who is the enemy of man and the enemy of goodness. God will raise up THE WOMAN who will be the enemy of the snake. The Lord is not speaking about Eve. He speaks of THE WOMAN.

This WOMAN will come into the world. Hear more within the Homily. Listen to this Meditation Media.
