Privacy Policy

The Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts’ websites (collectively “QueenofAllHearts.com, or “the website” in this document) refer to sites related to this domain and subdomains thereof. This privacy policy describes how QueenofAllHearts.com uses and protects any information that you give us. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with personal information through QueenofAllHearts.com, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, QueenofAllHearts.com collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We also track the pages that are visited. QueenofAllHearts.com’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how the website’s visitors use its website. From time to time, QueenofAllHearts.com may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. However, this information is for internal Queen of All Hearts consumption only.

QueenofAllHearts.com also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. QueenofAllHearts.com does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below. QueenofAllHearts.com does use IP addresses to recognize potentially harmful visitors, comparing the IP address to a third-party security firm’s list of potentially dangerous visitors. If identified, the person is blocked from using the site.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

QueenofAllHearts.com does not require a sign-in to use, view or listen to the media and spiritual content on the website. The site is freely available to members, and non-members, of The Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts. However, certain visitors choose to interact in ways that require QueenofAllHearts.com to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that QueenofAllHearts.com gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who use some media to participate in our media surveys to provide a First and Last Name, and an email address to respond to a few questions. This information is retained on the website’s database for up to one quarter and is never shared with external entities. The information is for internal consumption only.

Additionally, in the Enrollment Forms, information is gathered to facilitate enrolling in the Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts. Information includes First and Last Names, email address, mailing address, honorific, religious information (if appropriate), phone numbers, their Total Consecration Date, as well as optional comment information.

In each case, QueenofAllHearts.com collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the website. QueenofAllHearts.com does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

QueenofAllHearts.com discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on QueenofAllHearts.com’s behalf or to provide services available through QueenofAllHearts.com, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.

QueenofAllHearts.com will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Again, information may be made available only to the website / project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above.

If you are a registered member of the Queen of All Hearts, and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with the Queen of All Hearts. We primarily use our website to communicate new media and changes of this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.

If you send us a request (for example via an email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. If we do so, we will not use your name or other personal information. QueenofAllHearts.com takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

The information is also used to record the enrollees in the Queen of All Hearts’ Members Enrollment Book. And as stated, it is also entered into a Membership database that resides in our office, but is not directly connected to our website. The Membership database is used to send periodic emails from Queen of All Hearts, to send Consecration Reminders, and to respond to questions..

The information may also be retained on the QueenofAllHearts email servers.

We will not sell, lease or release / give your personal information to third parties, unless we are required by law to do so, or is absolutely crucial to delivering our services.

We would like to send you communications via email, which may be of interest to you from time to time. If you do not wish to receive future emails from the QueenofAllHearts.com, you may opt out by following the Unsubscribe process at the bottom of the emails.

3rd Party Email Company

QoAH now utilizes a 3rd party firm to send emails. Since the number of emails we now send out periodically has grown in size, we use a 3rd party firm to support these volumes. We provide email, first and last names, a honorific, Act of Total Consecration date, and general location (regional area of the country; international members are identified as international, not by country). This information is sent / updated periodically. Mailing addresses are not sent to or stored by the third party firm. This 3rd party firm also handles our unsubscribes and return mail indicators. See below for more information.

Access to data and changing personal information

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please follow the instructions at the end of this policy.

Queen of All Hearts’ member information may be altered: The process one must follow depends upon the information to be changed. If it is a change in email address or a name change, the member will depress the preferences link on the periodic emails. This will link to our 3rd party site, and the information may be altered. If the change involves a change of mailing address, phone number, etc. it may be altered by communicating to the Enrollment Director of the Queen of All Hearts. Simply reply to a periodic communication with the old and new information. Alternatively, one may call the office (the phone number appears at the bottom of the website’s home page), and communicate this information to the Enrollment Director: Queen of All Hearts.

Retention of personal information

We will not retain your personal information on our website. Once the information is entered it is emailed to the Enrollment director and entered into the Membership stand-alone database. We keep personal member information in our separate Membership database forever. If you choose to unsubscribe from a mailing list, we will keep certain information about you so that we may honor your request. However, after processing the unsubscribe request, no future communications will be sent. Your name will still reside in our Enrollment Book and on our master Membership database.

QueenofAllHearts.com will not delete personal data from logs, emails, or records necessary to the operation, development, or archives. Again, the information will continue to reside on our Membership database and in our Enrollment Book. However, if you unsubscribe, we will not send future communications.

Rights in relation to your information

You may have certain rights under data protection law in relation to the personal information we hold about you. In particular, you may have a right to:

  • request a copy of personal information we hold about you;
  • ask that we update the personal information we hold about you, or independently correct such personal information that you think is incorrect or incomplete;

If you would like to exercise these rights or understand if these rights apply to you, please follow the instructions at the end of this Privacy statement.

Third party links

Our website may contain links to other websites associated with the Queen of All Hearts. For example, the website contain links to Montfort Publication’s website, Legion of Mary and the Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts spiritual advisor’s website, and to QoAH’s Facebook page. There may be, from time to time, a link to a 3rd party website, though that is not the norm. When following a link and providing information to a 3rd-party website, please be aware that we are not responsible for the data provided to that third party. This privacy policy only applies to the websites listed at the beginning of this document, so when you visit other websites, even when you click on a link posted on QueenofAllHearts.com, you should read their own privacy policies.

Solicitations to Our Membership

Queen of All Hearts relies on “free will” donations to cover the expenses of its website, offices and its mission (see the mission statement on the Home and About pages of the website). While at this moment it does not have a donation web page, in the future we may indeed offer that service. Today, however, donations are mailed-in to our office.

Queen of All Hearts does not do letter or email soliciting donations. If you receive a donation request letter, addressed specifically to an individual, it likely did not come from our office. If you receive such a request, please contact our office by phone or email.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, QueenofAllHearts.com may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at our sole discretion. QueenofAllHearts.com encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
