Fatima, Despite Tens of Thousands Seeing the Miracle, is a Private Revelation!

We  hear sounds all arounds us.

We rarely pause . . . just to really listen. The sounds and messages we hear often distracts from the words we should hear. The Word of the Lord.

Fatima, despite the fact that tens of thousands of people saw the Miracle of the Sun, was not a public revelation. That is hard to believe. Despite the messages given . . . it was not a public revelation! It is a private revelation.

Why is it not a public revelation? Because public revelations stopped with the last Apostle. God does not reveal something new at Fatima! Interesting! We celebrate Fatima and all that makes it great . . . but, there is nothing about it that is new, except for the details. The visit of Our Lady is an echo to the world of the great speaking of Jesus.

When we understand that, the real power of Our Lady’s visit, begins to manifest itself. Fatima is not merely Our Lady’s concern for the world. It is heaven’s concern for the world! She speaks to the world with a gentle sharpness. What does that mean? Hear more in the Homily.
