No One Gives Up These Things Without Receiving an Abundance

No One Gives Up These Things Without Receiving an Abundance

The Lord tells us that we will receive many gifts . . . and persecutions.

Jesus tells us we will receive an abundance. But we must be careful, that we do not reduce it to merely worldly abundance. Jesus will bless us. But we cannot reduce the Gospel to just earthly success. That is of course possible. But when Jesus talks of the abundance of gifts . . . He is largely referring to non-worldly abundance. Jesus wants us to be happy . . . and enjoy the things He has created here on earth. But we cannot stop there. We need to also look spiritually to what Jesus is really saying.
