Queenship of Mary

She is my Queen and Princess, and I am her servant. She is my Mother and Mistress, I am the child of her heart. I truly am her follower for I honor and imitate her. ~ St. Louis Marie de Montfort (Hymn # 139)

Gospel and Homily : Mass: Feast of the Queenship of Mary

You Christians pay too much attention to Mary! Have you ever heard this before? Why do you spend so much time honoring Mary? The answer is one word! God! Because God Himself does so! There is nothing in the honoring of Mary that does not involve the Glory of the Almighty God! Our Lady was not Crowned in Glory when she was Assumed into Heaven. She was Crowned in Glory when God first thought of Our Lady to be the woman in the fullness of time! When was she Crowned with Glory?

In this first (21 minutes audio) Homily during the Mass of the Feast: The Queenship of Mary, listen to the greatness of what is actually celebrated on this Feast Day.

Conference: Feast of the Queenship of Mary: The Grace of Devotion

There is a fundamental element of the Devotion to Our Lady, that is rarely spoken about by Catholics. For those that are Devoted to Mary, we do so because we love her. Before we recite the fourth decade of the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary according to St. Louis de Montfort, he encourages us to reflect on asking for the Grace to obtain a tender Devotion to Our Lady. Why? Because Devotion to Mary is a Grace! Grace is something we have to look for, seek, and cooperate with to obtain it.

For those of us that have friends (Catholics and non-Catholics) that do not have a Devotion to Our Lady, it is because they have not receive this Grace (yet). Grace is not something we go out and acquire. It is something we seek and humbly receive, by opening our heart.

Are we aware of this aspect of Devotion? Listen to this Conference to hear more about Devotion and let it influence your seeking of Grace for the Devotion to Our Lady!
