Total Consecration: Its For Everyone and Not For Everyone

Total Consecration is a serious step in the spiritual life. It is, what St. Louis de Montfort says, is the Perfect Devotion. Therefore, the first thing one should strive for is to obtain a baseline of a relationship with Our Lady. It is critical to recognize the importance of Mary. It is very difficult to make a consecration without knowing her. Its difficult to love someone, without having spent time with Our Lady. So while Total Consecration is for everyone, at any one moment, it may not be right for everyone, based on where they are in their spiritual life.
