As all perfection consist in our being conformed, united and consecrated to Jesus, it naturally follows that the most perfect devotion is that which conforms, unites and consecrates us most completely to Jesus. Now of all God’s creatures Mary is the most conformed to Jesus. It therefore follows that, of all the devotions, devotion to her makes the most effective consecration and conformity to Him. Last year we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Fatima, when Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children. The visions started in May that year, and much was written and appeared in the news about the newly ordained saints.

As we enter into May, and stories about Fatima appear again, it is important not to immediately focus on the children and the events of the visitation by Our Lady. If we do, we may miss something. Our Lady did not just appear to the children. Every time Our Lady appears there is a reason and we must understand the events of the time, of that place and what was happening in the world. Our Lady leaves a message for the children and for the world. She also leaves a message for us as well.

On that day, 100+ years ago there was more than one miracle revealed. Revisit Fatima during this conference that was held on October 13, 2017 at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville, NY.
