All Saints Day Means Something Different If We Realize How We Are All Created!
Today we celebrate a great mystery.
The Church celebrates today All Saints Day . . . in doing so, the Church celebrates the reality of holiness claiming human life. This is a remarkable thing. We celebrate not the exception, but the rule. We grow up thinking the saints are exceptional. They are not! They are the rule. Wow! What context is this discussed? Hear more within the Homily.
Saints are not exceptional. They are the standard. The mediocrity that most of us mark our days, is the exception.
Man was not created for sin or selfishness. Man was not created for self-indulgence. All these things that humans say are natural, they are not. They are what most humans have fallen into.
What is natural is something very different. Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Realize what that means! How easy we forget that. Hear more within the Homily.
Listen to All Saints Day and what that should mean for us! Understand All Saints Day Means Something Different If We Realize How We Are All Created!
