It is crucial to grasp the Gospel’s conclusion as well. Essentially, it states that the Gospel itself is concluded but intentionally remains incomplete. St. John informs us that there is numerous other things Jesus has done, which he does not disclose. Why? Because he wants to provide us with a framework for understanding how to approach the Gospel in the first place.
Although the Gospels contain historical content, they are not meant to be treated as history books. Their completeness lies in conveying the truth of the mystery, the life, and the actions of God in Jesus, enabling us to receive, comprehend, and believe in them.
