Mary and Jesus Were Invited . . . And The Disciples Began to Believe
Today’s Gospel is the Wedding of Cana.
This scripture is well known to most of us. As with many parts of scripture that is well known, we should bracket the story . . . the part of the story we know . . . with the beginning and the end of the story. The story begins with Mary being invited to a wedding. Jesus and His disciples were also there. Hear what this means and why this part of the story is so important.
At the end of the scripture, we hear about the miracle. We hear why this story is so important. It isn’t just that Mary tells the servants . . . do whatever He tells you.
Listen to this Homily which frames the story of Cana. Listen to this Meditation Media and see if it doesn’t impact your own Spiritual Prayer life.
