God Wants You to Hope for Great Things in God

God Wants You to Hope for Great Things in God
Today has a remarkable set of readings. We hear a remarkable statement.
Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. One might question why this is so remarkable. We have heard this numerous times. Yes, it is true, but what makes it remarkable?
Many of us who are Christians, frankly, do not know How to Hope! A real Hope in God is often lacking in Christians. St. Louis de Montfort wrote a letter to the future priests of The Company of Mary. He says, Fear Not. But that is not enough!
It is not enough to be unafraid. One might ask, what more would I want not to be afraid? Montfort writes, it’s not what you want! It is what God wants!
What God wants from you is . . . that you Hope for Great things from Him! Hope sounds different that way. It is not just hoping in God. God wants you to Hope for Great Things in God. Not only that . . . He wants you to be filled with JOY when you hope for these great things.
Hear what that actually means! Understand what the Lord is telling us! Understand how this should impact your spiritual well-being. Listen to this Meditation Media.
