St. Therese, The Little Flower. Why Does She Have This Title?

The Little Flower only lived for twenty-four years.

However, you would be hard pressed to not find this saint’s image (painting, window or statue) in today’s parishes. She is recognized, not only for her sainthood, but for her Holiness. She is one of only a few Doctors of the Church. When she wrote, she would describe things in spiritual terms very simplistically, so they may be understood.
