A Holy Rosary Pilgrimage At the Shrine of Our Lady
Fr. Hugh Gillespie, SMM
O n Fatima Day 2020, a day normally marked with prayers to Our Lady, a special Pilgrimage was held at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island, Dedicated to Mary, Queen of All Hearts. From late September, through October, Marian Shrines across North America (one per day) participated in the 2020 Virtual Rosary Bowl. Catholics across the United States and Canada made a Virtual Pilgrimage to these Marian Shrines.
The Shrine of Our Lady of the Island held a special Holy Rosary Pilgrimage, visiting sites on the Shrine’s property. The sites include the Holy Stairs, The Cross on Calvary, the Living Holy Rosary Walk, the Tomb of Jesus, and The Rock of Our Lady. Join The Shrine and the Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts by viewing and participating in this Holy Rosary Pilgrimage.
The existence of a true pilgrim is characterized by a new vitality which deepens his sense of God, and thus of prayer.
