Preparing for St. Louis de Montfort’s Feast Day

C elebrating the Life of St. Louis de Montfort

This conference series was given over a four day period. The first three days were held in Preparation for Celebrating the Feast Day of St. Louis de Montfort with a focus on three titles of the saint. He is known for two of these titles after his death in 1716, and one title was given to him while he was alive.

While today, St. Louis de Montfort is known as the Consecration saint, or the author of True Devotion and the Secret of Mary, that was not so during his life or immediately after his death. The first three days (audio) focus on these three titles:

• Apostle of the Cross
• Apostle of the Rosary
• Missionary Apostolic

What are these three titles? Why was he given each? This is the purpose of the first three audio conferences. Again, each are presented in preparation for his feast day.

The fourth conference (audio) that appears below was given on the actual Feast Day of St. Louis de Montfort. In addition to the conference, on this day the statue of St. louis de Montfort was blessed.
