To Kiss us tenderly, He lets His head fall low.
Do you see how He implores us, stretching out His arms to us?
It is us Oh sinners, that merit all these pains.
Let us all cry mournfully, Forgive us our sins!
O pitiful Jesus, Forgive us our sins!
For it is we, Oh sinners, Who deserve these afflictions.
Versus 17 and 20, Hymn #72: Jesus Crucified: from The Hymns of St. Louis de Montfort
Reflecting on the Mysteries of the Passion of Our Lord
There is a fundamental logic to praying the Rosary and meditating on the suffering of Christ…a logic of advancement and growth in one’s spiritual life. Focusing on these Mysteries and the life of Christ prepares us not only for spiritual growth, but helps prepare for the Holy Days themselves.
We encourage all to meditate and pray the Rosary in Preparation for Holy Week .
