All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women,
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. (Acts 1:14)
Obedient and loving submission to the action of the Holy Spirit in our lives is one of the great fruits that the spirituality of St. Louis de Montfort produces in those who practice it faithfully. Recognizing that as Fr. de Montfort so powerfully expresses, “When the Holy Spirit, her spouse, finds Mary in a soul, he hastens there and enters fully into it. He gives himself generously to that soul according to the place it has given to his spouse,” (TD #36) the Association finds it very important for its members to unite even more intensely with Our Lady during the days of the Pentecost Novena when we call out for a renewed outpouring of the gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit in our hearts and upon the entire Church.
The Booklet of Novena Prayers is available below as well as an audio reflection on the importance of the Pentecost Novena that was given at a recent meeting of our Legion of Mary praesidium.
Visitors to the site may have noticed the appearance of a new page in our navigation tabs: Prayers of the Association. We have just begun work on this area and plan to continue adding to it over the next several days. This collection of prayers includes a number that were composed by St. Louis de Montfort as well as additional materials that have been composed by the Company of Mary (de Montfort Fathers) for the members of the Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts. All of these prayers have a particular power and value for helping those who have made the Act of Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the full beauty of Fr. de Montfort’s perfect devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
It is only fitting as we launch the newly redesigned website for the Association that we who have placed all things into the hands of Our Blessed Lady do likewise with this new undertaking as well:
We consecrate this site, great God,
And all of the work that will be undertaken by means of it,
For your glory alone,
Through the Most Holy Virgin Mary, the Queen of all hearts,
To the service of Christ your Son
That the victory of his holy Cross and glorious Resurrection
May shine with ever-increasing brightness against the darkness of the world,
And that the hearts of those who labor in his service
Beneath the banner and protection of the Most Blessed Mother
May be renewed in the strength of that victory
As they labor on behalf of his Kingdom
Who is Lord for ever and ever.
Mary Immaculate, Regina Cordium, pray for us!
